Everyone's favorite classic stage from 64 and Melee returns in Project M, and it's looking better than ever! First introduced in the original Super Smash Bros. for the N64, this stage has been iconic to Smash Bros. for years, and is popular among both casual and competitive players alike due to the large area of battle it provides, the simple platform layout, and its classic tune. In Project M, we've give Dream Land a complete visual overhaul, taking inspiration from recent titles like "Kirby's Return to Dream Land", but never fear! It still plays like the classic arena you know and love.
This stage generally benefits floaty characters as its large blastzones prevent them from being KO'd easily and allow them to utilize their great recoveries to traverse long distances and outlast their opponent. Due to Dream Land's size, characters with high mobility can take advantage by maneuvering around their stage giving them the positioning advantage they need in order to succeed.
