This stage comes from Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, the quirky platformer that required the Bongo controller to play. Fortunately, this stage won't force you to beat on the drum to beat on your friends. The general design is similar to the Pineapple Kingdom, the first world in Jungle Beat. Thick foliage and a massive waterfall lie in the background, giving a distinct feel of tropical wilderness that certainly fits DK's world.


This stage's layout is pretty simple, with three medium-sized platforms above the main bridge area. It is unique in that it has two platforms at the highest point with a single one in the middle. The bottom platform is long and somewhat close to the ground, so it can be particularly useful for securing stage positioning. It's worth noting that it is possible to pass through the floor from underneath, so it can make for a creative alternative for recovery in some cases. Also, the rounded blocks that serve as ledges have distinct walls that allow for certain recovery mix-ups. This stage is certainly a friendly face for anyone who stops by.
