This stage is original to the Smash Brothers series. It is called Final Destination or 終点 (End of the Line) because it signifies the final battle against Master Hand or Giga Bowser at the end of the single player modes. The background changes often as if you were flying through the cosmos.


Final Destination's lack of platforms makes it one of the most polarizing stages in the game. It makes projectile users harder to approach but it also allows players to chaingrab and juggle with impunity.
The unique curvature underneath the stage allows players to sweetspot the ledge by riding up the wall. Be careful, however, because of the shape of the lip, you will not be able to tether the ledge while underneath the overhanging edge.
